About Us:
Incorporation
| National Portfolio Securities (NPSC) was
founded in Jordan in 1982 as the first public shareholding company acting as a
broker at Amman Stock Exchange with a paid-in capital of JOD 1.5 million at a
par value of JOD 1.0 per share. |

During 1992 the company has increased its common
shares outstanding to 2.5 million at par value of JOD 1 through a stock dividend
of 0.5 million shares and a private subscription of 0.5 million shares. In 1994,
the company increased its capital to JOD 5.0 million through private
subscription of 2.5 million shares at an issuing price of JOD 2.5 per share.
This effectively raised JOD 4.625 million for shareholders’ equity as stock
premiums. During 2000, the company reduced its common shares outstanding
from 5 million shares to 2.5 million shares at par value of JOD 1, through
reverse stock dividend of 0.375:1, and a total amount of JOD 1.5 million has been
returned to the shareholders.
And during 2005 the company has increased its common
shares outstanding from 3 million JOD/Share to 4 million JOD/Share through a stock dividend
of 1 million shares. Not shortly after , the company increased its capital to JOD
10 million through private
subscription of 4 million shares at an issuing price of JOD 3 per share and
Stock Dividends of 2 million Shares.
During 2006, the
company increased it's Paid-in Capital from 10 million shares to 15 million
shares through stock dividends of 5 million shares.
The shareholders’ equity as of 31 December
2005 was JOD 39.1 million or US$ 55.1 million to reach in 31 December 2006 JOD
20.2 million or US$ 28.4 million.
NPSC is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of eight
eminent members specialized in finance, commerce, investment and banking. They
are employing their abilities and efforts to better serve NPSC’s clients.

We, at NPSC, realized that the key of any company's strength is
the result of its internal cohesion and organization. So, we aimed to create a
new corporate structure for our departments, and divisions. This structure
focuses on the freedom in responsibilities, authorities, and interrelations of
personnel who manage, perform and verify effective quality within the company.
All these departments are well defined in activities and implementations, and
all employees are well trained.
Now, we can provide proper solutions through designated
channels. We can enhance our services in such a way, make full customer's
