clients, we aim at providing a full service strategy to NPSC's client base. To
better service our clients, this Department is well organized and highly

The Financial
Services Department takes the responsibility of representing financial
consultancy services, brokerage services as well as the service of marketing
Initial Public Offerings (IPO's) all in compliance with ASE instructions and
regulations.
Brokerage:
NPSC
is
considered as the first Public Shareholding Company in Jordan to offer brokerage
services including trading in stocks and bonds at the Amman Stock Exchange.
The brokerage
division's main function is to handle our client's instructions regarding the
execution of buying and selling orders. High emphasis is put on the
implementation of ASE rules and regulations.
There are 4
main units that work under the brokerage division to assure the quality of the
services it represents:
1) Client Services Unit:
In this unit,
all procedures of following up with NPSC's client's needs are taken care, and all
new clients are received and their accounts are opened.
In addition,
our professionals receive their clients' orders of buying and selling securities
and then record them in special forms for the Amman Stock Exhange Unit to carry
out.
Continuous follow-up with our clients is essential for us. For this purpose, the Client's
Information Card, created by NPSC, aims at providing our clients with all the
information related to their accounts and their financial positions. By updating
our clients with important information on ASE's recent changes, advises are
presented to them in all matters needed to successfully execute the process of
buying and selling stocks. In addition, immediate notification is conveyed to
clients whenever a transaction is executed on their behalf.
2) Amman Bourse Unit:
This Unit
undertakes the plans and programs that are related in execution buying and
selling orders at ASE's automatic trading floor. It coordinates with other
brokers from different companies to ensure that the orders are executed
properly.
It also works
hand by hand with the NPSC's Client Services Unit to make sure that all orders
are executed accurately and properly as clients requested. When our
professionals receive the dealing slips of the transaction, they will be ready
to be processed into NPSC's database so that they can be available for our
clients who wish to check it at any time of their convenience.
Once our
brokers execute the orders, the Clients Service Unit will be immediately
notified about it, which, in turn, will inform our clients immediately.
This, of
course, assures our clients that their orders have been taken care, and the
follow-up from our part has been performed on time.
3) IPO Marketing Unit:
NPSC seeks to
distinguish itself through its quality services along its in-depth knowledge of
the Jordanian economy, its equity markets and major industries and corporations
in the Kingdom. We aim at providing a full service strategy to NPSC's client
base, and hence, the new IPOs marketing service is conceived as an important
step toward reaching our target.
4) Brokerage Risk Management Unit:
Brokerage involves
risk. This Unit is established to facilitate the job of our brokers in dealing
with new clients and lower any possible risks. Its main responsibility is to set
up NPSC's policies and instructions for the purpose of evaluating each client's
portfolio.

Portfolio Management Service
Today's investor
is faced with more financial alternatives than ever before. There are literally
thousands of investment choices including stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. NPSC’s professionals help our clients understand the investment process and
select those investments that best match their needs, goals and tolerance for
risk.
Our
relationship with investors begins with our Account Executive. His or her job is
to get to know you, consider alternatives and then help in designing an
investment program that meet astute investor’s financial objectives. The
portfolio management services that we afford depend upon our client’s specific
needs and the level of authority that the clients granted to us.
In building
this plan, the Account Executive will work closely with our Investment
Specialists. These professionals provide expertise in just about every
investment area including common stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and financial
planning.
Of course, time
may change the investment objectives. Market conditions will change as well.
That's why each investment portfolio is reviewed periodically, and appropriate
adjustments are made to ensure that the investment program continues to meet
investor’s objectives.
Portfolio Management
Philosophy
The NPSC portfolio management philosophy is straightforward. It is based on the following
three standards:
1. How a
portfolio is preferred by a client's specific financial objectives and risk
tolerance.
2.
Diversification is the key tool for managing risk.
3.
Security selection is based primarily on fundamental analysis of each
investment.
Process
To ensure that
we design an investment program based on our client’s needs, every NPSC Account
Executive is trained in the Portfolio Management Process. This process is
implemented through the following steps:
1. Have
a complete knowledge about our client.
2.
Sharing investment concepts.
3.
Asset's allocation.
4.
Diversification.
We attempt to
use the Portfolio Management Process as our basic approach in serving all of our
clients through the informative reports and written reviews of a client's
portfolio.
We understand that a portfolio
is not just a variety of securities. It must be individually crafted to reflect
the financial need and risk tolerance of each client.
